Waking yawns greet Dawn’s grayish blue haze
Sun’s orange eye peeks out from under the sky covers
Shower splashes meet grinning sleepy faces
Giddy hands and feet eagerly throw on favorite clothes
Warm air surrounds on the way to the car, the bus, the train, the plane
Happy Eastertide, everyone! This is the season of resurrection, the definition of which is (clears throat, dons glasses):

1. The act of rising from the dead or returning to life.
2. The state of one who has returned to life.
3. The act of bringing back to practice, notice, or use; revival.
4. The act of reviving or condition of being revived.

Easter Season Worship

All too often we observe Lent and celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday as the completion of our faith. Christ is risen from the tomb, we are joyful in our worship, and then we head out for a spring break vacation.
That’s hardly what was happening in scripture. The season between Easter Sunday and Pentecost was filled with outrageous transformation for the disciples.
